When some of these girls arrived, they were so shy they could barely speak to me. For a few, even making eye contact felt hard. 💔 That mattered—because this experience was created for girls exactly like them.

I asked each girl to share the names or phrases they had been called by others—the words that stuck, the words that hurt. Together, we wrote those words on their skin ✍️ not to define them, but to acknowledge what they had been carrying.

Each girl then chose a temporary tattoo that felt meaningful to her—something she connected with, something that felt stronger, braver, or more true. 💫 We placed those on their skin as well.

I photographed each girl individually 📸 and at the end of her turn, I asked her to wipe away the hurtful words—leaving only the positive ones behind. 🤍

Watching them physically remove those labels was emotional.
