Malia was part of the Visual Performing Arts Academy at Salem High School. She's played viola for 7 years and was also on the school's tennis team. I had the honor of having her on our Senior Model Crew. I love Malia's enthusiasm. She always has a positive spirit about her. We photographed her first outfit at the studio and then moved on to photograph her on the campus of Hampton University. Then we moved on to a more industrial location, where we got permission to photograph her. We laughed a lot. Especially when my assistant, Elle, got tangled up in the long dress.
