Maternity Sessions

Our maternity sessions are customized sessions, designed to celebrate the most special time in your life. Typically done in the eighth month of pregnancy. This session comes with access to the Storybook Dress Closet, where you will get to pick one of our amazing dresses! You will have a wardrobe consultation and styling, to give you the ultimate Storybook experience!

1 hour/In studio or Out on location $199

Add professional hair and makeup for $95

Presentation/Ordering Appointment:
After your session, you will come back to the studio approximately 2 weeks later to purchase your portraits. The number of images vary by session, typically between 20-30. After viewing and selecting your favorite images, we will work together to create your order. 
We will help you choose your favorite portraits and show you beautiful fine-art products, wall art, memory boxes and custom personalized books.

The Investment:
Storybook Studios believes in custom wall art and home decor. You will keep these heirloom portraits for your lifetime and for generations to come. These portraits of your child will be beautiful fine art, to treasure for you and your family. We offer A La Carte prints that start at $85 and print collections that start at $400. Most people spend between $850-$1600.

The Making of the Award-Winning "Dragon Lady" Portrait

Elisha loved dragons. She loved Cosplay wigs and outfits. Since I customize my photo shoots, I had to figure out how to make someone look like a dragon. This one was definitely a challenge to figure out. An hour before she got there...I figured it out! I painted a small skull red/black and glued it to a headband and then added these giant red feathers to her back. I added black feathers on her shoulders. I love the way she reacts to seeing the photo on the back of my camera. It brought her to tears. Makes me tear up every time!
