Last year was filled with challenges and struggles 😔💔 for Madelyn. She was bullied so badly that they had to pull her from her public school and send her to private school. A group of kids told her to unalive* herself 💔, saying they all decided the “best way” for her to do it was to h*ng herself. This took a deep toll on her self-esteem and made her question her worth. She even started to believe the world might just be better off without her 😞💭.
Madelyn was self-conscious about her height and was afraid of putting herself out there, fearing rejection. It has taken her a while to understand that being her authentic self 🦋✨ is a non-negotiable, regardless of how others receive her 🌟.
Before starting the Fearless Spirit Model Crew 📸✨, Madelyn felt like she hadn’t found her “thing” yet 🤷♀️. Her sister had discovered horseback riding, but Madelyn hadn’t found her own focus yet.
When I first met her, she saw the aerial silks 🪢 hanging up in the studio and was instantly interested in learning them. She said, “I want to fly!” 🦅💫 She also shared that she loves anything related to World War II 🌍✈️. So, I suggested we do her photoshoot at the Military Aviation Museum 🏛️✨ with (my favorite!) a P-40 Warhawk airplane 🛩️ with the cool shark teeth. It’s from World War II!
Madelyn loved helping out during the model crew photoshoots 📷🤝. She would always leap up and say, “I’ll help!!” 💪✨. When we did a photoshoot with the aerial silks 🪢, she was so excited to show the girls how to do some aerial poses. She’s a natural! 🌟✨
