From Dark Elegance to Light Trails: Lincoln’s One-of-a-Kind Senior Session

Some senior sessions feel like stepping into a movie—and Lincoln’s was one of them. 🎬✨

From moody restaurant portraits to golf course creativity and glowing light-painted images, every part of this session reflected a different side of who he is. That’s what makes senior portraits at  Storybook Studios so special: no two sessions ever look the same.

We started at Honey and Hooch, which gave us the perfect dark elegance atmosphere. Between the dramatic lighting, rich textures, and cinematic feel of the space, Lincoln absolutely looked like he belonged in a magazine spread. The vibe was cool, polished, and just a little mysterious in the best way. 🖤

Then we shifted gears completely and headed into nature with one of the most unexpected guests we’ve ever had at a senior session: his bunny rabbit, Hoppers. 🐇🌿

There was something really peaceful about this part of the session. The contrast between the darker indoor portraits and the softer outdoor moments made the gallery feel even more personal and layered. Hoppers added so much personality to the session, and honestly, he completely stole the show a few times.

After that, we headed to Stumpy Lake Golf Course for golf portraits that felt clean, modern, and true to Lincoln’s personality. ⛳ The golf course gave us plenty of room to create images that felt natural instead of overly posed, which made the session feel even more authentic to him.

And then came the grand finale.

Once it got dark enough, we pulled out the LED lights for one of the coolest creative shots of the night. We attached glowing lights to Lincoln’s golf club and used long-exposure photography to create bright streaks of motion around him while he swung. The final images looked futuristic, artistic, and unlike anything you’d ever get from a standard senior session. ⚡

Those light painting portraits are exactly why we love experimenting creatively during sessions. Senior photos should feel personal—not cookie cutter. Lincoln’s session blended elegance, personality, hobbies, creativity, and storytelling all into one experience, and the final gallery truly felt like him.

That’s always the goal. 💫
