Ericka is a homeschooled middle schooler. Casey has been photographing Ericka since she was about 2 years old. She can be shy at times. For the first 3-4 photoshoots, she wouldn’t smile or talk. She suffers from mild anxiety, especially in new situations. Once, she was on a playdate with a co-worker’s daughter. During that visit, the co-worker’s daughter told her if Ericka got on her bad side, she would kill her. This traumatized Ericka. 

She has always been at an advanced level for everything she learns. She learned to read at the age 2. She plays 9 instruments. She loves her cat, Oliver….who was a little bit of a diva for the photoshoot. Like a butterfly, Ericka has come out of her 

Ericka is one of the most thoughtful people that I know. She is always bringing little gifts for everyone. She remembers specific things about each person and then brings them a gift that is perfect.

Ericka has found more confidence in herself through the Fearless Spirit program, especially in her voice - she notices herself speaking up for herself more. She will miss all of the girls, Casey, and especially the s’mores. Her favorite shoots were the mirror shoot and the neon shoot - she especially loved the blue lashes she got to wear for that one. To anyone considering Fearless Spirit, Ericka says to go ahead and do it for some fun memories that will become your favorites. Ericka would like to thank Miss Casey for the whole experience, and she will miss all of the girls,

She has grown tremendously in confidence, carrying herself with poise and pride both on and off the runway. Along the way, she has built lasting friendships with her peers—relationships that encourage, inspire, and support her. Most importantly, this program has helped her become more self-aware, giving her a deeper understanding of her strengths and her unique presence. Fearless Spirit has truly empowered her, not only as a model, but as a young woman learning to embrace who she is.
