Avree's Fearless Spirit Session

Avree had been waiting for 3 years for her turn to be on the Fearless Spirit Model Crew. Her older sister was on the crew, when it first began. She couldn't wait to plan her own Fearless Spirit photoshoot. Avree loves the Lord of the Rings. So, since I get excited about doing a theme that I've never done before, I couldn't wait to get started on it! Avree picked the black "medieval" look for her first look and even had her own crown, to top it all off! (see what I did there? ;)

When we started shooting, Avree looked at me and said, "Excuse me...don't I get a sword with this?!" I died laughing and said, "YES...you do! How silly of me to forget!"

The red dress was her second look. I'm constantly putting her (and her sister) in red. That is definitely their color!  You can't go wrong with a splash of red! 

Her final look was with Naya, the Magical Horse. Naya is a breed called Akhal-Teke and is among the rarest, most exotic full-size horse breeds around the world. She has pale blue eyes and her coat shimmers when the sun hits it. This is because their hair lacks the opaque center of the typical horse's hair shaft. Thus, it refracts light and appears to glow. (a.k.a. Magical!) So, what's the secret to getting Naya to pose? Naya LOVES mints. So, we would hand Avree some mints to put in her hand and pockets to keep Naya interested in what we were doing. The only bad thing about this is...Naya can smell it on you. So she's always trying to get in the pockets of the dress! LOL. Avree handled it like a pro!
